TMUA mock paper 4

An original TMUA-style mock: Paper 1 (Applications of Mathematical Knowledge) and Paper 2 (Mathematical Reasoning), 20 multiple-choice questions each in 75 minutes, with no calculator. Sit them one after the other, as on test day, or one at a time.

Mock paper 4 is part of the full TMUA course

Mock papers 3 to 10: timed Paper 1 and Paper 2, a breakdown by question type, time per question and a review mode with every worked solution and fast method. Mock papers 1 and 2 are free.

Included with A Level plans, and with IB, IGCSE or CBSE plans.

Paper 2 tests the Section 1 maths as well as logic, proof and errors in proofs, so 8 of its 20 questions are Section 1 questions. The questions get harder through each paper. Every question is our own and its answer was re-checked independently by computer.

How it is marked

You get a raw mark out of 20 for each paper (out of 40 for both), your marks by question type and your time on each question, then a review of every question with its worked solution. We do not convert raw marks to the 1.0-9.0 TMUA scale: UAT-UK scales Papers 1 and 2 together from each sitting's results and publishes no conversion.

After the mock: review your mistakes, then drill your weakest question types.
