A Level Maths Predicted Papers 2027

Quick answer: nobody outside the exam boards knows what will come up in 2027, and we don't claim to. These are practice papers we write ourselves: short timed mini-mocks (5 to 9 questions) on core skills every specification examines, marked automatically. They run at real-exam pace: a full 9MA0 paper is 2 h for 100 marks, a full IAL paper 1 h 30 min for 75 marks.

Final 6 Weeks: your final prediction set

Final set opens Friday 25 December 2026 (International A Level Maths, January 2027)

A free six-week plan counted back from your first paper, ending with a final set of timed papers. Each paper opens only once it is checked.

Start the free plan

Sit each paper with your board's formulae booklet beside you, as in the exam. Our one-page sheets show what the booklet gives you: A Level and IAL formula sheets (PDF). Plan backwards from the 2027 exam dates, and finish with the boards' own past papers.

How to use a practice paper

  1. Sit it in one go, timed, with your board's formulae beside you.
  2. Check your answers against the marking, and note the topics where you lost marks.
  3. Revise those topics: A Level Maths topics (AQA, Edexcel, OCR) or IAL units.
  4. Finish with a full official paper from your board: Edexcel 9MA0 · AQA 7357 · OCR H240 · Edexcel IAL.

Not sure how your board's papers differ? AQA vs Edexcel vs OCR side by side, or go straight to your board: Edexcel · AQA · OCR A.

School mocks coming up? What is on each paper, a 2-week and a 4-week plan and the mistakes that cost marks: Edexcel · AQA · OCR · IAL units · all mock exam guides.

Predicted papers: common questions

Are these the real 2027 A Level Maths papers?

No. Nobody outside the exam boards knows what will be on the 2027 papers, and any site that says it does is guessing. These are practice papers we write ourselves, in the style and at the pace of the real exams.

What topics do the practice papers cover?

Core skills that every specification examines, such as solving quadratics, differentiation and integration, logarithms, the binomial distribution and Newton's second law. They are not a forecast of which questions will appear.

How long is each practice paper?

Each is a short timed mini-mock of 5 to 9 questions, run at the same marks-per-minute pace as the real exam. A full Edexcel 9MA0 paper is 2 hours for 100 marks; a full IAL unit paper is 1 hour 30 minutes for 75 marks.

Are they free?

Every question is free to read, and a free account marks your answers. One paper per course (UK A Level and IAL) is a free sample: its first questions open with the answers and mark scheme without signing up, and a free account (no card) opens its whole mark scheme. Answers and mark schemes for the other papers come with an A Level plan, and a 7-day free trial is available.

Where can I find real A Level Maths past papers?

On each exam board's website. Our past papers pages link to the official AQA, Edexcel and OCR papers and mark schemes, with a timer, and never copy them.

Which exam boards are they for?

The UK practice papers are written in Edexcel 9MA0 style but the content is the same for AQA, Edexcel and OCR A Level Maths. The IAL papers are for Pearson Edexcel International A Level units P1 to P4, S1 and M1.
