Questions about these notes
Which exam board are these notes for?
Pearson Edexcel International A Level (IAL) Mathematics: Pure 1 to 4 (WMA11 to WMA14), Statistics 1 (WST01) and Mechanics 1 (WME01). If you take UK A Level Maths with AQA, Edexcel (9MA0) or OCR, use the A Level Maths topic pages, which show the Year 12 and Year 13 content and where each board examines it.
Are all the notes finished?
Notes marked with a green β are fully written. The rest are being drafted; until they are, practise those topics in the Edexcel IAL practice engine.
What should I do after reading a note?
Check the formulas you used against the IAL formula sheet, answer exam-style questions on the same topic, then sit a timed paper from the Edexcel IAL past papers and mark it with the official mark scheme.
Can I use a calculator in every IAL unit?
Yes. A calculator is allowed in every Edexcel IAL maths unit, P1 included, but you still need to show your method to earn the M marks. Our calculator guide shows the keystrokes step by step.
