In one line: Pete is a practising IB Maths examiner, a former Head of Maths and IB Diploma Programme Coordinator, and Director of Studies & Enrichment at an IB Continuum school. He runs this site and ibmathrevision.com alongside his school role.
Why this site exists
Students lose marks they know how to get: a missing method step, an answer without the working an examiner needs to see. Answers alone don't fix that; mark schemes do. So every question here comes with a step-by-step M1/A1 mark scheme.
This site is built on the same engine as IB Math Revision (2,900+ IB questions) and now has 1,650+ questions for the six Edexcel IAL units. No ads, no selling data.

Teaching philosophy (in three sentences)
- Marks matter, and mark schemes are underrated. You get the marks by knowing the shape of the answer, not by finding the "right way" to solve it.
- Fluency beats novelty. Drilling 100 slightly different straight-line-graph questions makes you unstoppable at straight-line-graph questions.
- Short sessions, most days, beats long sessions, some days. The 15-minute daily habit is more valuable than the weekend cram.
